Activities

Want to see what's in store?

See the list below for all of the fun learning activities we do for the kids!

  • Martial Arts - Every quarter, the kids attend the local Taekwondo studio to work on balance and endurance, learning to be respectful and disciplined in the basics of the art.

  • Water Day! - Wet and wild fun with Mr. Crab, The Big Blue Dino and Crissy the Unicorn!

  • Small Muscle development through arts and crafts

  • Family Fun Challenge - In September, the kids will take home a wooden car kit to put together and paint. Then it will come back to school for the Wooden car race and Best in show awards for creativity.

  • Science: Volcanoes, clouds, weather, crystals. Discovering the world of science is so much fun!

  • Gardening - The kids plan and grow whatever they want, including fruits and vegetables too! One student wanted to grow macaroni and cheese, so we planted wheat!

  • Cooking Classes - The kids learn the history of the food they eat, and the science and math involved in every recipe. We tie the menu to the season and the country they are studying each month. A past popular favorite was Italy, where we learned to make pasta from scratch and then roll it out. They used tomatoes and herbs from their garden to make the sauce!

  • Indoor physical education (Getting the wiggles out!) - When it's too cold or too hot to go outside, the teachers come up with all kinds of fun programs to help the kids exercise indoors.
